The University of Louisville men's basketball team fell to Connecticut 69-66 in the Big East Tournament title game Saturday night in New York City.The win gives Connecticut an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament next week. U of L is expected to receive an at-large bid when the pairings are announced Sunday evening.The Kentucky Wildcats will play Florida Sunday for the Southeastern Conference Tournament title. Tipoff is 1:00pm in Atlanta.
Rick Howlett was midday host and the host of LPM's weekly talk show, "In Conversation." He was with LPM from 2001-2023 and held many different titles, including Morning Edition host, Assignment Editor and Interim News Director. He died in August 2023. Read a remembrance of Rick here.
