Cards Host West Virginia, Seek Sixth Victory

By Sheila AshThe University of Louisville football team will close out its home schedule when West Virginia visits Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium Saturday. It’s another chance for the Cardinals to notch the sixth win needed to become bowl-eligible. Coach Charlie Strong says the Mountaineers are tough on both sides of the ball. "Offensively have a lot of speed, quarterback is playing well. Offensive line is big and solid, kicking game is very solid. So it’s going to be a battle for us. It’s going to be a really good true test for us. Cause this is a very, very good football team and we’re going to have to play very well to win this game," he said. Kick-off is at noon. It’s also Senior Day at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. In other action Saturday, Indiana takes on Penn State. Kentucky is idle this week.
