Cards Looking For First Win Against WVU Since '06

In college football, the University of Louisville hopes to build on a two-game winning streak tomorrow at West Virginia, a team the Cards haven't beaten in their last four tries. U of L has also been winless in Morgantown since 1990. The Mountaineers are ranked 24th in the latest AP poll, and Cards Coach Charlie Strong says his team will have to play mistake-free football to escape with a victory. Strong also says he’s told his players to tune out West Virginia’s notoriously hostile crowd. "Know this: they can’t come out of the stands. The game is played on the field and they can say whatever they want, they will be sitting in the stands. Your battle is on the football field," he said. Tomorrow’s kickoff at Morgantown is at noon. The Kentucky Wildcats will try to notch their first Southeastern Conference victory, as they host Mississippi. Kickoff is at 3:30pm.The 1-8 Indiana Hoosiers are at Ohio State at noon.
