Later this month, The Kentucky Opera will open its 65th season with the production “Ariadne auf Naxos.’

The comedy pokes a little fun at high art. Thanks to an engaging plot, contemporary costuming and English translation, it’s presented in a way that’s accessible for even those who are new to the art. I got this overview from cast member, Greg Maupin, which you can listen to in the audio player above.
