By Rick HowlettLouisville Metro Police Chief Robert White is a finalist for the chief's job in Atlanta, according to that city's mayor's office.A press release issued Tuesday says White is one of three finalists for the post. All three will be introduced at a town hall meeting next week. The two other finalists are Atlanta Interim Police Chief George Turner and Dr. Cedric Alexander of the Transportation Security Administration, who leads federal security oversight at the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport.White is the first chief of the new Metro Police Department created by merger in 2003.
