A new date has been set for Churchill Downs’s online sale of some three-thousand Derby and Oaks tickets. The sale was originally scheduled for last week, but was delayed because of technical issues.Spokesperson Darren Rogers says those issues have been resolved, and the new online sale will be January 6th at noon.“We could have put them on sale this week, but we didn’t want to do it on such short notice, and also right on top of the holiday, which is why we’re waiting until right after the first of the year," says Rogers. "We’ll get through the holidays, everybody can regroup and then have a chance at tackling those Derby tickets.”The tickets come at a variety of price-points and are bundled together in two-day packages.
