Clinton To Visit Kentucky

New York Senator Hillary Clinton will make her first visit to Kentucky since the presidential primary in May.On September 20th, the one time Democratic presidential candidate will campaign in Lexington and Pikeville for senate candidate Bruce Lunsford.Lunsford campaign spokesperson Cary Stemle says Clinton may not win over many Republican voters, but she will excite Democrats behind Lunsford.“People do call her a daughter of Kentucky," say Stemle. "I mean, she’s been here that much and she’s that popular. Obviously, the base will be excited.”Lunsford is running against four-term incumbent Senator Mitch McConnell. Clinton won Kentucky’s presidential primary in May, but shortly afterward, she conceded the race to current nominee Barack Obama.
