Comedian Stephen Colbert lampooned U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., for his recent statements that people should be subject to profiling if they attend “radical political speeches” that advocate the violent overthrow of the government.

The satirical talk show host points out—as Kentucky blogger Joe Sonka did previously—that by those standards, Paul could be arrested for attending and speaking at rallies with militia groups brandishing weapons.
