The Kentucky Wildcats fell to number 15 Florida 48-10 tonight in Lexington. It was the Gators’ 25th consecutive victory over UK. The Wildcats are now 2-2 going into next week’s game at Louisiana State. Florida remains undefeated at 4-0.Indiana was defeated by host North Texas 24-21. The Hoosiers drop to 1-3 on the season; they’ll host Penn State Saturday.
Rick Howlett was midday host and the host of LPM's weekly talk show, "In Conversation." He was with LPM from 2001-2023 and held many different titles, including Morning Edition host, Assignment Editor and Interim News Director. He died in August 2023. Read a remembrance of Rick here.
