Div. of Water Chief Seriously Hurt In Car Wreck

Sandy Gruzesky was en route to the Lexington airport when her car struck a tree on Iron Works Pike.  She was headed ultimately to Washington, D.C. to testify at a U.S. House Natural Resources Committee hearing on a proposed bill to regulate coal ash.  Gruzesky is being treated at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.  There’s no word yet on her prognosis.  But a Division spokeswoman says her condition is extremely serious.
