In 2007 former Governor Ernie Fletcher signed a law addressing human trafficking in Kentucky. As surprising as it might sound, slavery is alive and well throughout the world, including Kentucky. Most of the victims are immigrant women, but not all. And there are ways to help identify the victims of modern day slavery.
