Downed Power Line Safety Info From E.ON U.S.

Stay away from downed wires. Keep others away, too. Always assume any downed wire is an energized power line and call us immediately.

LG&E Customers:   (502) 589-3500 (toll-free 1-800-331-7370) KU/ODP Customers:   (800) 981-0600 There is no way to tell if a downed wire is an energized power line, or a cable or telephone wire. We urge you to report any downed wire immediately. Call 911 if the situation is an emergency. Be cautious when clearing fallen tree limbs and debris from your yard after a storm. Avoid making contact with branches or debris that may be in contact with downed power lines.
