Eco Power Solutions to Build Demonstration Site in Louisville

A company called Eco Power Solutions is building a site in Louisville to demonstrate its technology to clients from all over the world. The company is marketing a technology called COMPLY 2000, which officials say makes the process of creating energy from coal and gas-fired power plants more efficient and cleaner.CEO Tom Thompson says it’s a relatively new process, and they needed a place to demonstrate how it works.“None of these companies are early adopters," says Thompson. "So what we have decided to do is construct this sales and marketing facility, which will house two at-scale COMPLYs: one that will demonstrate the energy recovery capabilities, the other one emission reduction.”Thompson says the company hopes to have the facility up and running by June, and expect to provide up to 100 jobs. It’s located at the former Naval Ordnance Station in south Louisville.
