Everyday Philosophy

If you've taken a high school or college philosophy class, you probably have at least a passing familiarity with Socrates, Descartes, metaphysics, and maybe even epistemology. You've probably written papers and answered essay questions about the origins of life, and the difference between right and wrong. Perhaps you spent long nights making thoughtful gestures and annoying your roommates by continuously saying things like, "But what IS truth?" and "What if none of us really exists at all?" But chances are, at the end of the semester, you slowly forgot about Plato and his cave. Today we'll make philosophy practical again, in a show about how we can apply philosophical theories and methods of thought to our daily lives.
