Fayette County Superintendent To Lead Prichard Committee

The Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence has tapped retiring Fayette County Schools Superintendent Stu Silberman to lead the committee.Silberman will succeed Robert F. Sexton as executive director. Sexton died last August.Silberman will officially leave his job in Fayette County in September. He'll assume his duties at the Prichard Committee shortly afterward.The committee is a non-profit group that promotes achievement in public education.
