Wikimedia Commons

Continuing a streak of unhealthy air days, the Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District has issued an Air Quality Alert for ozone for Saturday for Louisville and Southern Indiana. It's the fifth consecutive day of predicted smog, where the weather and pollution are expected to combine to elevate ozone levels into the unhealthy range for sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include people with asthma or lung disease, the elderly and small children. For a real-time look at air quality, click here.
