Funeral arrangements are pending for former Louisville alderman and state representative Paul Bather.Bather died Tuesday in Houston, Texas following a battle with pancreatic cancer.The 62 year old Bather served several terms on the old Louisville Board of Aldermen, representing west Louisville's 12th Ward. He also served one term as the 43rd District Representative in the Kentucky House before retiring in 2003.
Rick Howlett was midday host and the host of LPM's weekly talk show, "In Conversation." He was with LPM from 2001-2023 and held many different titles, including Morning Edition host, Assignment Editor and Interim News Director. He died in August 2023. Read a remembrance of Rick here.
