Games Used To Fight MS

A University of Louisville professor says a new suite of computer games can help slow the progression of multiple sclerosis.Dr. Stephen Kirzinger helped oversee three games that are available free online. They test attention, recall speed and multitasking abilities, which he says deteriorate in MS patients."They always say 'If you don't use it, you lose it' and that is also true for cognitive issues both in MS and in other diseases such as Alzheimer's disease," he says.Kirzinger says the games are not proven to reverse the symptoms of MS, but regular mental workouts can slow down the disease's progression. To play the games, click here.
