H1N1 Vaccine Clinic Set For West Louisville

The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness will hold an H1N1 vaccination clinic next week in west Louisville for people at high risk of contracting the swine flu.Officials say three-thousand doses of H1N1 vaccine will be administered next Tuesday, November 24 at the New Zion Baptist Church at 1501 South 34th Street.The clinic begins at 3:00pm and continues until 7:00pm or until supplies run out.The high risk groups include pregnant women, people who care for young children, people between the ages of six months and 24 years old, people 25 through 64 who have chronic health disorders, healthcare workers and emergency responders.There will also be an H1N1 clinic for high risk groups Saturday at 10am at the Urban Government Center on Barret Avenue.
