The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness is asking for the public's participation in an exercise this (Wednesday) evening that will test its readiness to distribute medication during a public health emergency.Spokesperson Dave Langdon says the exercise will take place from 5:00-7:00pm at two Louisville National City Bank branches."There's one branch at Preston and Fern Valley Road and then another at 2601 Bank Street. People won't have to get out of their cars, they'll just go through the windows and they'll be given some kind of a pretend medication," Langdon said.Langdon says the exercise was scheduled before the current swine flu outbreak and will simulate a response to an anthrax attack. It's held in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Those who take part will be eligible for prizes.
