U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will deliver a speech in Louisville next week.

The University of Louisville says Clinton will speak Friday, April 9th as part of the McConnell Center’s spring lecture series.

The center, named for U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, has drawn some high-profile speakers to Louisville, including former Secretary of State Colin Powell, the late Sen. Edward Kennedy and 2008 Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain.

The Clinton speech, at the Brown and Williamson Club at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, is free and open to the public, but tickets must be obtained via the McConnell Center’s website.
