With the Democratic National Convention adjourned, delegates from around the country are returning home. One of those delegates is Mary Briscoe of Clark County, Indiana. Briscoe originally went to Denver to cast her ballot for Senator Hillary Clinton, but she says the senator’s speech in support of Barack Obama persuaded her to change sides. Now, she’s convinced that a united Democratic party can win the White House.“I think it’s really powerful," says Bricoe. "I don’t think we’ve seen anything like this since Kennedy. And I was old enough to see Kennedy.”This was Briscoe’s first national convention. Senator Hillary Clinton narrowly won Indiana’s presidential primary over Obama in May.
