HullabaLOU Festival Still Being Formed

The first-ever HullabaLOU Music Festival is still months away, but officials with Churchill Downs Entertainment Group are at work securing acts and finalizing logistics for the event.Spokesperson Todd Koesters says planning a three-day music festival with over 65 bands is a challenge.“We’re going through all of our final checks on staging and production to make sure we’ve got the vendors lined up on time," says Koesters, "all the logistical stuff that goes into bring five stages to the festival.”Koesters says they’re still booking acts for the festival. He says they need about three more acts for general stages and five more bluegrass acts. The events headliners are Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney and the Dave Matthews Band.Though he won’t quote a number, Koesters says ticket sales have gone well so far.The event is set for July 23-25 at Churchill Downs.
