Ice and Snow for Indiana, Mostly Rain for Louisville

Much of the country is bracing for a massive winter storm today. In Chicago, forecasters expect snowfall at the rate of 3 inches an hour, combined with blizzard force winds. The Chicago Tribune reports the city is bracing for the onslaught. In Indianapolis this morning, there's been freezing rain, and forecasters expect another half inch of ice today, on top of the half inch that fell last night. But in the Louisville metro, our main concern will be gusty winds tonight and tomorrow, in excess of 40mph at times. The National Weather Service predicts we'll see some snow tonight, but likely less than an inch of accumulation. However, the gusty winds will blow that snow around. Check the latest forecast.
