Idea Festival Starts Wednesday

The founder of the Idea Festival says while ticket sales are down for this year's event, interest in the speakers is not.Kris Kimel attributes a roughly 20 percent drop in ticket sales to the lagging economy. He says even though attendance for some events may be sparse this year, he's looking forward to a crowded festival."Each year we try to put together an event that the buzz comes from…a combination of a lot of different events. Certainly this year, Anthony Bourdain has been a big seller with a lot of people interested in him," he says. The festival begins tomorrow (Wednesday) in Louisville and lasts through Saturday. Chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain's presentation is Friday.
