The lack of a quorum has prevented the House from conducting any business. The GOP agreed to drop a contentious right-to-work bill that in part triggered the walkout. But Democrats say they want concessions on other bills, including some other labor and education-related measures.Republicans say they won’t be bullied into dropping their agenda, and plan to extend legislative deadlines to save important bills once Democrats return.(Information for this story also came from the Associated Press)
