The Indiana Senate has given final passage to a controversial “right-to-work” bill and the measure is on its way to Governor Mitch Daniels, who will sign it into law.His signature will make Indiana the Rust Belt's first right-to-work state and the first state in a decade to enact a law barring labor contracts that require workers to pay union representation fees. The Indiana House approved the bill last week. An Indiana victory is expected to embolden national right-to-work advocates, who've unsuccessfully pushed the measure in other states following a 2010 Republican sweep of statehouses.Several union demonstrators in the Senate chamber shouted their opposition as the bill was approved.
