Louisville and Jeffersonville’s mayors are reopening the long-awaited Big Four Bridge at 2 p.m. today.
The public is invited to gather at either side of the pedestrian bridge.

The final leg of construction was finished Monday, according to Indiana Department of Transportation spokesman Will Wingfield. And Jeffersonville city officials are expected to gain control of the ramp within the next few days.
The Louisville side at Waterfront Park opened in February 2013.
