Instant Gaming Comes to Kentucky: State of the News

Earlier this week, Kentucky Downs became the first horse racing track to haveinstant gaming, which looks similar to video slot machines but has some critical differences.  There are challenges to the legality of instant gaming pending in the courts, but Kentucky Downs decided to take its chances and install some 200 of the machines in an effort to boost revenue and racing purses.  Friday on State of the News, Courier-Journal reporter Gregory A. Hall paid a visit to explain the situation.
