Kentucky Kingdom opens at 11 a.m. Saturday—it’ll be the first time the public will be inside the amusement park since 2009.
The amusement park’s updates include a new rollercoaster and a doubling of the water park, Hurricane Bay.
Since Six Flags left Louisville, the efforts to to reopen the amusement park on the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center grounds has suffered its starts and goes.
