Is It Really Magic?

This week Louisville will play host to the annual convention of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, a gathering of conjurers from all around the globe. We're asking what is the new face of magic? How has this ancient art changed from the time of Blackstone and Houdini and before to the age of Blaine and Copperfield? What makes magic so appealing to both the audience and performer, and why are its secrets so closely guarded by its practitioners? Bring your deck of cards to the radio and prepare to be astonished as State of Affairs delves into the conjurer's art.
