Is technology at work passing you by?

When I set about booking the show today I started out thinking about the State of Affairs team.  We are all over the board with our knowledge of technology.  But it's not so much the knowledge as it is being comfortable enough to use it.  Let's take Twitter for example, the show now twitters (@soatalk), I have a twitter account that I rarely use and Laura Ellis is all over it.  Julie however, does not twitter. So how does this relate to technology at work?  When I started with the show in 2000 we didn't have a website. As a matter of fact, we rarely used e-mail. Now, we are constantly updating the site, trying to find new "bells and whisltes" to post, SoA twitters, WFPL twitters, there are facebook pages and wikis.  Honestly, it makes my head spin, but I try and keep up.But what about you? Do you try and keep up with the latest technology as it relates to your job? Or are you a tech wizard stuck in an office of manual typewriters?  Or, are you an employer trying to get everyone on the same page?Today we want to hear from the tech savvy, those wandering in the tech wilderness and employers trying to deal with both. How? Well you can twitter @soatalk, e-mail us soa@wfpl.org, send us a text to the same e-mail or give us an old fashioned phone call 814-8255 (1-877-814-8255).
