J-Town Launces Re-Branding Website

The Jeffersontown Economic Development Authority says some people who work in the Bluegrass Industrial Park don’t know they’re in Jeffersontown – and they want to change that. Director Mike Kmetz says J-town is in the midst of a re-branding effort to market the city to potential businesses. They’ve launched a website – My Jeffersontown.com – to collect opinions from area residents on how to best market the city. Kmetz says there are a number of potential results.“Signature entrances in the park, more defined areas," says Kmetz, "upgrading of the park over a long time, curbs and gutters potentially, upgrades, sidewalk improvements, more amenities to compete with the other business parks in the community.”He says the website will be up for three or four months, and after that will become a means of communicating with area residents and businesses.
