Jeffersontown Has a New Logo, Business Park Name

The Bluegrass Industrial Park has a new name and Jeffersontown has a new logo. They were unveiled today at the Jeffersontown City Council meeting. The two winners were determined by an online vote. Mayor Clay Foreman says he wasn’t surprised when a logo with a gaslight was chosen and a park name with the word “Bluegrass” was selected.“We knew early on that there was a tremendous amount of brand equity in the gaslight, and there’s also a lot of brand equity in the name 'Bluegrass'," says Foreman, "so we felt from the very beginning that those would be elements in the final logo and name of the park.”The final name of the business district is the Bluegrass Commerce Park.Foreman says they’re working with their PR agency to put the new name and logo into circulation as soon as possible.
