Jeffersontown Rebranding Campaign Asks For Votes

Jeffersontown officials are seeking a new identity for the city. The city is asking citizens to help choose a new logo and a new name for the Bluegrass Industrial Park. Director of Economic Development Mike Kmetz says he wants the logo and name to make it clear to the city's residents and many workers that they are in Jeffersontown."A lot of folks view Jeffersontown as a large industrial park with a small town, and really the reverse is true—we're a small town with a large industrial park," he says. "I think it'll stabilize the business that are here, give them more sense of an identity and potentially bring additional locations here, yeah."Four logos and four proposed new park names have been posted online. Anyone can vote for one option in each category. One logo and name will be eliminated every two weeks.
