KDP Responds To Biden

The chair of the Kentucky Democratic party says the group is generally happy with Barack Obama’s decision to put Joe Biden on the presidential ticket.Jennifer Moore says Biden’s experience in the senate makes him a wise choice, but he wasn’t the state party’s first choice.“Most of us would have really loved to see Senator Clinton on the ticket with Senator Obama but I think that you’re going to seem some really great things come from Senator Clinton as far as leadership withinin the Senate and that’ll be a great role for her," says Moore.Moore says Biden was well-received in Kentucky when he was campaigning for his most-recent presidential bid. She hopes that appeal will help the Democrats win the state in November.
