Kentucky Trumpeters Make Hollywood Debut in 'Lincoln'

"A half day of shooting for ten seconds of scene." That's how a member of the Kentucky Baroque Trumpets described his experience on the set of Stephen Spielberg's Lincoln. The musicians were contacted by the film's production team last year to play Civil War-era instruments for a flag-raising scene in the movie. They signed a disclosure agreement saying they wouldn't talk about their involvement until the release date, but now that the movie's out, they can tell all. Musicians Don Johnson and Michael Tunnell joined WFPL's Erin Keane Friday on Byline to talk about their big-screen experience.
