Kentucky Voter Registration Numbers Released

Almost 2.9 million Kentuckians are registered to vote in the November 2nd general election. Les Fugate of the Secretary of State’s office says Democrats still outnumber Republicans. “Democrats still have a 3-2 registration advantage in Kentucky over the Republicans. And ‘Others’ only represent about six-percent of the voting population. So, the Democrats still have a major advantage in terms of registration numbers,” he said. But Fugate says Republicans and independents signed up more voters since May than Democrats. And females still outnumber males on Kentucky's voter registration rolls.
