The Louisville Metro Council has approved an ordinance to allow live music in venues in the western edge of Old Louisville near of 7th and Oak streets.Councilman David James hopes the ordinance will energize the neighborhood and its local eateries.“It’s just a part of revitalizing Old Louisville" says James, "and making it more business and user friendly to the people that live here.”The ordinance still needs Mayor Greg Fischer’s approval.
