Looking at Contemporary Art

For some of us "art" means a landscape painted in oil or a vase of flowers done in watercolor. For others it means a bronze sculpture of a horse and rider or a marble statue of a goddess. Then there are the artists and patrons who prefer "Contemporary art". What? Well, "Contemporary art" is an all-encompassing term that can mean art of the moment or art since WWII.
