Louisville Traffic: Tuesday Morning Update

Here's where we are as the commute gets underway this morning:State officials have tweaked the traffic patterns after watching the Monday morning commute. Traffic will no longer be allowed to exit on Third Street and stay on Third Street— it's now being redirected down River Road. Also, road crews have increased the number of pylons on the Kennedy Bridge to prevent lane hopping.More than 80,000 people drove across the Sherman Minton Bridge every weekday, and this traffic will now redirect through the Kennedy Bridge and Clark Memorial Bridge corridors while repairs are underway.The Sherman Minton bridge was shut down Friday after inspectors discovered a crack in the span.
