A Louisville woman is organizing an effort to treat and shelter pets left homeless by last week’s severe weather in southern Indiana.Lisa Roedemeier has set up a network of veterinarians, shelters and volunteers to care for displaced pets and help reunite them with their owners. She says about two dozen animals are being houses in two Jeffersonville shelters and many people are offering assistance. "I’ve had people call me from Michigan. People want to help, they want to do something, and I think we’re channeling some of their efforts respectively as we speak," she said.
