Major Trade Show Coming to Louisville

One of the largest trade shows for companies that make products for children is coming to Louisville.  The ABC Kids Expo will be in Louisville starting in 2011, says Louisville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Director, Jim Wood.“It’s a private show for the juvenile products industry, and the retailers, exhibitors, manufacturers, sale representatives, importers, exporters and members of the media will be participating in the exhibition, so it is quite the show for us," he says.Wood says it will be the third largest convention Louisville has ever seen in terms of revenue.  It’s estimated the ABC Kids Expo will bring in $12-million a year to the community, with 14,000 people in attendance and 1,200 exhibitors.  He says the event is scheduled to be at the Fair and Expo Center in 2011 and 2012, with contract extensions available through 2015.
