More Candidates File For Kentucky State Office

Rep. Addia Wuchner of Florence has qualified to run for Auditor of Public Accounts. She faces John Kemper of Lexington in the Republican primary. Also in the race is Democrat Adam Edelen of Lexington. Hilda Legg of Somerset has qualified to run for Secretary of State. She faces Bill Johnson of Elkton in the Republican primary. Also in the race are Democrats Alison Lundergan Grimes of Lexington and Elaine Walker of Bowling Green. John Faris Lackey of Richmond has qualified to run for Agriculture Commissioner. He will square off against Bob Farmer of Louisville, Stewart Gritton of Lawrenceburg, David Williams of Glasgow and B.D. Wilson of Frankfort in the Democratic primary. Republicans in that race are Rep. James Comer of Tompkinsville and Rob Rothenburger of Shelbyville.Tuesday at 4:00 pm Eastern time is the filing deadline for statewide office in Kentucky.
