National Conference On The Black Family Beings Thursday

by Gabe BullardThe National Conference on the Black Family in American begins in Louisville Thursday.The conference focuses on building strong black families. Assistant coordinator Dr. Lundeanna Thomas says seminars will address the internal and external challenges to families and communities."The challenges that are facing us politically, economically and educationally and a number of them will be talking about ways in which we can overcome," she says.This is the 37th year for the conference. It will be held downtown through Saturday.
