During the mid-February residency, the 100-musician orchestra will perform concerts in Louisville, Florence, Owensboro, Paducah, Lexington and Somerset. First Lady Jane Beshear is excited about the upcoming visit.“Thanks to this event, for one full week, this coming February, Kentuckians – including us – across the state, will be entertained and educated by one of the world’s most talented and inspiring groups, the National Symphony Orchestra," she says. The orchestra will also offer a wide variety of community outreach programs during its residency, including chamber music performances, in-school ensembles and art advocacy training.
