We're changing our weekday and weekend schedule on WFPL to bring you new and exciting shows and to highlight some of our long-time favorites.Starting next week, we'll broadcast two hours of Talk of the Nation on weekdays. This is a busy election season, and with Talk of the Nation from 2-4, you can stay informed and participate in the conversation more than ever before. But that doesn't mean Q is out of the picture. Every day, Jian Ghomeshi gives us the latest in arts and culture, and we'll bring you Q at 7:00 pm on weekdays. Now for the weekend. Starting Saturday, we'll bring you the new NPR show Ask Me Another at noon. The show presents puzzles, games and trivia in front of a live audience. It's fun...Very fun.The weekend will continue with This American Life at 1:00, Snap Judgement at 2:00 and the Moth Radio Hour at 3:00.On Sundays, we'll bring you America's Test Kitchen at noon. Christopher Kimball and Bridget Lancaster answer your cooking questions and explore food-related topics. Recent shows have covered the raw milk debate, recipe theft and the secret life of Betty Crocker. At 6:00 pm on Sundays, we'll bring you the TED Radio Hour. This is a presentation of ideas from the extremely fascinating (and wildly popular) TED talks. That will be followed by On the Media at 7:00 and Day 6 at 8:00 pm.We hope you enjoy these new shows and the new lineup. We're always hoping to bring you the latest and best programs and more of what you like. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to write to us at programs@wfpl.org.
