Occupy Louisville Granted New Permit Through March

Occupy Louisville has been granted a new permit from the city's Department of Codes and Regulations.The new permit allows up to 70 protesters to remain on the Founder's Square site and to keep tents up during that time. The permit further requires that three portable restroom facilities be installed within three days of the permit's issuance.Codes and Regulations is also requiring a $500 deposit if the demonstrators want electricity on site. If the amount owed is less than $500 on Mar. 31, when the permit expires, then the remainder will be returned to demonstrators.Click here to see a copy of the permit.
