Online Survey Seeks Input on River Road

There’s a new online survey on the Louisville Metro Government website seeking public input on how to best improve River Road. The city is months into a Corridor Management Plan study, which has already included public meetings.Chris Poynter with the Mayor’s Office says the online survey is just another way to get input from the public.“River Road is a very heavily-trafficked bicycle corridor, as you know it’s Louisville’s only Scenic Byway, so it’s very beautiful," says Poynter, "and we want to put together a plan that not only improves the road for vehicles, but also for cyclists.”Poynter says the survey will be up for about a month. He says planners hope to complete the study this fall and have results to present to the public not long after that.
