Paul Questions Trump Candidacy

Speaking to CNN, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., questioned if birther, carnival barker, reality TV star and real estate mogul Donald Trump is a serious presidential candidate. The freshman Senator was reacting to his father, U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Tx., announcing a third bid for president, but was skeptical if Trump was actually running."I think it's hard for an entertainer or comedian to be treated seriously and that's the big hurdle he will have to overcome," Paul said. "We'll let the public decide that, but I'd say he does have quite a few hurdles to overcome to be taken seriously."UPDATE:During the broadcast, Paul points out his father has won 11 federal elections as a congressman, but Trump hasn't won any. And he gives a warning to Tea Party voters that Trump has—dun, dun, dun—contributed to Democratic candidates. Here's the video. Go to 4:00.
